Inspired by the Gobelin-French botanical tapestry Madeleine captures the gravitas of a botanical garden in a midsummer night. Leisurely pursuits of the French aristocracy led to a booming industry of this fantastic woven craft near Paris. The Gobelin Factory commissioned by the court to develop tapestry for the royalty and the Church still operates today.
